I'm reading a book by Lenedra J. Carroll (mother and business manager of Jewel), The Architecture of All Abundance. It was loaned to me by a friend who said she "couldn't get into it." I decided to keep an open mind and start reading it (while I was awaiting my other books to arrive).
I, too, found parts of the book a bit OTT... but, other parts did resonate with me. I especially liked Lenedra's take on change:
"The greatest and most heroic sacrifice we can make to change the world is to sacrifice fear, guilt, and judgment; to sacrifice the habits, behaviors, and qualities we possess that no longer serve our world or us. There is no greater thing we can do to change the world than to change ourselves."
I also love Clapton's take on changing the world. This man will always rock my world :-)

Personal Mission Statement
Just back from a whirlwind trip in Ontario, Canada, where we spent a month touring around the Province and, the purpose of the trip, celebrating our nephew's 21st Birthday.
I decided to put my business on hold for the month, to focus on my family. Being self-employed gives me that liberty from time to time :-)
This week is back to our home in Mallorca, and back to business. The first thing on my agenda was to review my goals, which I like to do at the beginning and end of each day. I also like to review my personal "mission statement" on a regular basis.
I'm happy to say that all systems are on track and humming along at a steady pace. I am loving my life and my business. Being aligned with positive media has been a life-changing experience. I'm so proud to work with a company that produces extraordinary stories about exemplary people.
HAVE YOU DEFINED YOUR MISSION STATEMENT?
